We are Dave and Georgina Roberts, living near the outskirts of Snowdonia National Park in North West Wales. By day, Dave works in the hospital, proudly serving the local community, while Georgina is an avid creative, capturing life’s best moments on camera. Our shared passion for travel, Celtic heritage, and exploring new places inspired us to start this blog.
From scenic countryside walks to big city excursions, we hope our adventures spark your curiosity and encourage you to pack your bags for your own unforgettable journey.
Our Story
A Chance Encounter
We first met in 2007 in a café, enjoyed a cup of coffee, and then went our separate ways. The following day, while I was driving to visit friends in Gloucester, I was on the A5 in Shropshire when I overtook a Renault Kangoo that looked strikingly familiar. When I looked over, I realized it was Georgina. I gestured for her to pull over into the next layby, and that was the start of our journey together.
Since that day, our lives have revolved around exploring the great outdoors—cycling, walking, and travelling in our beloved Volkswagen campervan. We’ve journeyed across Europe and visited many of Scotland’s islands, including the Outer Hebrides, Orkney, and Shetland, all while embracing new cultures and the natural beauty of our surroundings.

Celebrating Celtic Heritage
Proudly Welsh & Cornish
Dave’s Welsh background and Georgina’s Cornish roots create a unique blend of Celtic traditions. We find joy in discovering historical landmarks, connecting with local cultures, and indulging in local delicacies—like a hearty Welsh rarebit or a traditional Cornish pasty.
Every year, we set out to uncover new routes, ports, boat events, car shows, and festivals, all while taking in the wonderful sights, sounds, and tastes along the way.
